On Sunday morning when i was as usual surfing on internet trying to get some new stuff from the net ocean and suddenly my cursor stopped on this image. A cool way of Americans mindset, we talk about globalization still we try and simplify things to the core and in the process of simplification we divide things and this is the division which is represented on this image. Its just a funny way of dividing things according to industry vertical.

I.Y.O (International Youth Organization)

This is an organization of youths, where students from different colleges and different part of world pool in to do some constructive work for the society. I.Y.O is purely governed by students and it held workshop and conference on various topic such as leadership, Team Building, competency management. Where as with these thing I.Y.O also work to create a positive impact on society through various event and work done by its member. I.Y.O in its conference also talk on various global cause which need urgent attention and we try and bring some ways so as to reduce it effect.

This is the few core area where I.Y.O focus on

•To enhance the leadership ability.

•To enhance the team building skill.

•To create a positive impact on the society.

•To create a potential network world-wide of students and companies.

•Help in identifying core competency.

•To share their ideas and learning.

•To promote the youth culture.

I.Y.O first workshop was held in ISBR, electronic city which was attended by large no student and I.Y.O received a good response from various guest present in the workshop. Student who participated for the workshop also enjoyed the workshop a lot and they were excited to be a part of I.Y.O.

In future I.Y.O look forward to conduct various workshops in different in culture and different part of world so as to give every one a feel of mix. I.Y.O will also work on various management and technical related hot issues in the world.

Here I'm presenting a Mind-Map for Bangalore city. It is a useful skeleton to study the diversification of a metro city according to their functional area. There is a root seed followed by various other sub branch giving a comprehensive structure of a city. Various company and organization can use this skeleton to develop their own database.This skeleton is developed on basis of Bangalore city but it can also be used for various other metro cities with little bit of modification.

How to control your ego

In companies where the concept of team work and team building is being used at all level, where the employee have to work in coordination but in doing so every time the ego conflict is there .

so there are 10 points in order to control your ego :-

1. Beware of the boundaries: There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance.

2. Let them speak: Make sure you hear others out, not just by acknowledging with a nod but actually listening to the words and registering what they are saying. If there is a moment of silence while you digest it then all the better.

3. Be generous: As the saying goes 'If you catch too many fish the best place to store them is in another man's stomach. Egotism can lead to selfishness and often altruism and generosity will get you much further.

4. Show don't tell: Strike a balance between feeling good and telling everyone how good you are.

5. Treat people with equal status: Even if you are the expert in your field, recognise that others around you are great too.

6. Be human: When someone asks for personal advice, put your own agenda to one side and base your recommendations on what you think is in their best interest.

7. Publicly thank others: Be gracious and show that you think of others. When people believe that they will be appreciated they tend to be more trusting with their time and support.

8. Listen to criticism and be seen to take it on board: It doesn't have to be wholeheartedly accepted but enough to show that you are willing to change.

9. Fall down: Prescribe yourself a heavy dose of failure. Make it your goal to be rejected by at least five people. This shift in focus helps us see ourselves in a different light.

10. Finally, don't feel slighted: Don't expect people to endow you with status it needs to be earned not imposed.
